New appointments in the government

Finally, we waited for strengthening in the government! Oksen Lisovoy, a member of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, director of the Small Academy of Sciences, was appointed to the post of Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine. After the full-scale invasion of Russia into our country, Oksen Vasyliovych volunteered for the 95th brigade of airborne assault troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. What is interesting is that Oksen Lisovyi does not receive a salary from the Armed Forces, although he is at the front and serves as the director of the Small Academy of Sciences. Shortly before Oksen’s appointment as his Minister of Education and Science, he was accused of plagiarizing a scientific dissertation. Oksen Vasyliovych immediately submitted his thesis to the Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education for a National Review. Lisovy promised to make the conclusion public as soon as it was made.

“If any violations of the new culture of academic integrity are discovered, the formation of which will be given special attention by me, I will give up the scientific degree of candidate of sciences,” the minister accepts.

He also emphasized that he has submitted a government proposal that allows any citizen to voluntarily renounce a scientific degree and, accordingly, all allowances. And Lisovyi proposes to direct the economic funds to the development of science, defense and reconstruction. A brave deed of a man of a man who lives up to your word.

Oksen Lisovyi is a very progressive candidate, he clearly feels modern challenges in education, knows what needs to be done.
