The Council announced when the replacement of the Minister of Defense and other important votes will take place

David Arakhamia, head of the "Servant of the People" faction, announced that important changes in the government of Ukraine are coming. He noted that several important votes will be held this week and the main one is the replacement of the Minister of Defense. In his Telegram channel, Arahamiya wrote that it is finally possible to distribute official news. In particular, he announced the dismissal of the Minister of Defense and the head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine. He also noted that Rustem Umyerov will be appointed to the post of Minister of Defense of Ukraine. Arahamia emphasized that these will be the only personnel changes this week. However, he also announced the holding of important votes. In particular, issues related to the restoration of the declaration of all officials in the format agreed with international partners will be considered. Also, the first reading of the amendments to the Law on Registration of Owners of Real Rights (RERs) will take place. We will remind that on September 2, People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak mentioned a possible change of leadership in the Ministry of Defense. He said that Oleksiy Reznikov will probably be appointed ambassador to Great Britain, and his position will be headed by Rustem Umerov, the head of the State Property Fund. Today, September 3, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the dismissal of Oleksiy Reznikov from the position of Minister of Defense. He also confirmed that Rustem Umerov will become the new Minister of Defense.
